Software Developer Intern - The Philippines
JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a highly motivated Software Developer Intern to join our team. The successful candidate will work closely with our experienced developers to develop and maintain software applications. The intern developer will be responsible for writing code, debugging software issues and performing code reviews. We expect good communication skills in English, a positive attitude, along with a high level of commitment and responsibility, to be agile and dedicated to high quality work.
P92 as a part of Gloster group is a well-established profitable provider of integrated IT solutions and IT staff augmentation projects. P92 works with larger brands across Western Europe and North America like Sony Music, Blackhawk Network and Tesco Mobile. The company has been established within Hungary since 1992. Our offices are in Budapest, III. District, Szeged, London and Cebu (Philippines). Our Cebu office is located on the 14th floor Latitude Corporate Center, Mindanao Ave., Cebu Business Park, Luz, Cebu City.
REQUIREMENTS
Education
- BSc / MSc degree in progress in Computer Science, Information Engineering or a related subject or equivalent experience
Knowledge / Skills
- Basic knowledge of C#, ASP.NET, and .NET Core
- Basic knowledge of React
- Familiarity with web development fundamentals (HTML, CSS, APIs)
- Understanding of databases (SQL or NoSQL basics)
- Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git)
- Basic understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC)
- Awareness of clean code principles and debugging techniques

- Good written and verbal communication skills in English
- Collaborative attitude and the ability to work effectively in a team
- Problem solving attitude and a positive mindset
- Enthusiasm to programming, scripting

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Write clean, efficient and well-documented code
- Collaborate with senior developers to design software solutions
- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality
- Debug software issues and provide solutions
- Test software applications and make recommendations for improvements
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development process
