JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a Mid Front-End Engineer to join our team and contribute to one of our most prestigious international product developments. You will be working on a cutting-edge, cloud-based digital assessment platform used globally across various educational and governmental institutions. It supports the entire examination lifecycle—from planning and authoring to delivery, proctoring, grading, and feedback. It is designed to make educational assessments more inclusive, fair, and relevant, while maintaining academic integrity and providing a smooth experience for learners.

EDUCATION

EXPERIENCES

• 4 to 7 years of experience in designing and developing high-performance web applications are required.
• Strong experience with Integrating with REST API’s & Elasticsearch.
• Proficient in frontend using JavaScript, React.js, and Redux.
• Extensive experience with cloud technologies, preferably AWS (EC2, S3, DynamoDB, Lambda, ElasticSearch, SQS, Cloudwatch).
• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.
• Familiarity with design patterns and best practices for software development.
• Expertise in agile development methodologies (Scrum or Kanban).
• Proficient with version control systems such as Git.
• Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES

• Develop, Test, Deploy, and maintain web applications using React, AWS and Elasticsearch.
• Work with cloud infrastructure components on AWS, including EC2, DynamoDB, S3, Lambda, and other AWS services.
• Develop & collaborate with frontend teams using JavaScript, React.js, and Redux to ensure seamless integration between frontend and backend systems.
• Develop reusable components, optimize performance, and ensure best practices in React development.
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility, accessibility, and responsive design using CSS frameworks like Material
• Work with state management libraries such as Redux
• Implement front-end testing using Puppeteer & Chai Mocha
• Engage in code reviews, testing strategies, and automated build pipelines for continuous integration and deployment.
• Identify system bottlenecks and propose scalable, robust solutions.
• Ensure code quality and adherence to best practices through testing, monitoring, and continuous rollout improvements.
